Fraserburgh
The town lies at the extreme northeast corner of Aberdeen, approximately 40 miles north of Aberdeen. Fraserburgh boasts several attractions including an award winning sandy beach, a picturesque harbour, the lighthouse museum, heritage centre and a variety of amenities and facilities.
It is home to the famous Kinnaird Head lighthouse and castle. Kinnaird was the first ever Scottish lighthouse, which is now part of Scotland's first Lighthouse Museum.
To experience old industry life, visit the working meal mill at Sandhaven nearby, or Maggie's Hoosie at Inverallochy, before finishing your day with an evening stroll along the golden beaches at sunset.
