Inverurie Town Centre

Inverurie Town Centre

The town sits between the River Don and the River Ury and is only 10 miles (16 km) from the imposing hill of Bennachie . The town centre is triangular and is dominated by the grand Town Hall built in 1862. In the middle of the 'square' (as it is known locally) is the Inverurie and District War Memorial, capped by a lone Gordon Highlander looking out over the town.

The main shopping areas include the Market Place and West High Street which branches off from the centre towards the more residential part of the town. We chose to feature Inverurie as we discovered it to be a lovely town, with great shops and restaurants, easy access to both Aberdeen and Inverness and at the gateway to Scotland's most scenic Castle Trail and Distillery Trail. As the fastest growing town in Europe, it's a great wee gem to discover. Getting to Inverurie is easy, so why not stay a while and explore Inverurie and all it has to offer.

We are delighted to be working alongside Open Your Eyes to Inverurie, a marketing group made up of local businesses that are passionate about Inverurie and all it has to offer. For more information visit www.inverurie4u.com
