Inverurie Golf course

Inverurie Golf Club

Is located in the Grampian region of Scotland. The layout of the course has re-developed over the years since the golf club was established in 1923 and now the Inverurie club members have a well established course which stimulates a pleasant, interesting challenge to all standards of golfer.  There are parkland holes to give an open varied start, a series of shorter holes  around the turn which demand accurate iron play, followed by a testing, picturesque, tree lined section to finish.

The course; 5564 yards, par 69, features an initial gentle smooth opening nine holes followed by a more testing and tight finish with tree-lined mature woodland. This presents a fair challenge to players of all standards who also enjoy natural wildlife such as roe deer, woodpeckers and buzzards. There are stunning panoramic views especially towards the east - taking in Uryside, Keithhall Estate (the ancestral home of the Earl of Kintore), and the ever expanding community of Inverurie.

The nineteenth at Inverurie offers a friendly, relaxed atmosphere where you can round of your day with a large choice of refreshments, or check out the club history, or perhaps mingle with the members and enjoy the regular entertainment. However, an ideal alternative is to visit Steven McLean's well stocked Professional's Shop and browse through the latest golfing equipment, or discuss possible reasons why the course presented a slightly more difficult challenge than you anticipated!
