Books and Beans

Is proud to be the first Fair Trade Coffee Shop in the Aberdeen, and was opened in 2003. They serve all day lunches as well as homemade soups, sandwiches, salads, panini and a range of excellent Fair Trade coffee, tea and hot chocolate.

Along with the hot drinks they also stock a wide selection of Fair Trade snacks and over 30 other Fair Trade items.

There is a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere and you can choose to either stay in the coffee area downstairs or head upstairs to the main Bookstore, where you can browse our books or check your e-mails, or even eat your soup and sandwich, before heading off home.

There is a very large selection of books, over 15,000 titles and all their second hand books have been selected by the popularity of the author and the quality of the book.

All the books are on a database and are available to purchase in the store or on online, or indeed in our Bookstore.
